Once a nurse, always a nurse. Retired or not, your heart is with your nurse colleagues that are overworked and unappreciated.

If by any chance you are tempted to forget, the newspapers are there to remind you: nursing shortages, nurses retiring early, hospital and emergency rooms underserved… The crisis never ends.

Canadian nurses are now standing in solidarity, addressing these problems with our government. Among many issues, they are advocating for safe staffing levels and a supportive work environment.

As an artist and retired nurse, I strive to use art to help share this message and to show my support towards my nursing colleagues.
